Quality Assurance
Our quality assurance procedures are unparalleled in the industry. We also make you an integral part of our quality assurance procedures. Every process has at least three stages of approval and sign-off. Before the promotion begins within one of our production departments:
■You are given samples to approve .
■The operator reviews the instructions and stock before starting.
■A supervisor reviews and approves the Job Sheet within one hour of start of shift production.
■During the first 2 hours, the Production Manager visits the machine and signs off.
■Your Account Manager also visits your machines several times a day to ensure we are producing a quality product for you.
Calmark also has a Quality Assurance staff that reports directly to the Executive Vice-President. The staff continually monitors our facility and visits each machine at least once an hour. They have complete authority to shut down a machine if there is any indication of a problem. Our 20 point Quality Assurance checklist provides guidance for everything from printing quality to the finished mail tray.
We are still not done. The finished mail goes through one last Quality Assurance checkpoint to ensure we are sending the correct product to the correct destination on the correct day.
